Mother - there is no other.

Mother,

There is no “other”.
If we have no memories of our mother;
Of hugs that embrace us;
An embrace that secures us,
An embrace that heals us,
An embrace that comforts us;
Then we have only an “other” and have not known our “mother”.

If we have no memories of our mother;
Of tenderness that instills in us;
A need to heal rather than hurt,
A need to nurture rather than ignore,
A need to make stronger the bonds of family,
Then we have only an “other” and have not known our “mother”.

If we have no memories of our mother;
Of sacrifice that moves us;
Moves us to shame,
Moves us to tears,
Moves us to strive and overcome,
Then we have only an “other” and have not known our “mother”.

Our Mother is always present and near;
Our memories of her always clear.
The “other” is but a vagueness;
A passing acquaintance with little impact in our lives.
If you know your Mother,
You'll know She's like no “other”.

"To Know To Conceive; A Thought, I AM"

"I think, therefore I am"; "Cogito ergo sum" by Renee Descartes

We often think of a viable human being in terms of the physical. Yet as recorded in (Genesis 2:7),

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

It wasn't the physical form that defined "life - a living soul" but the breath of life; the breathing of the spirit into the flesh. It is the merging of the spirit with the flesh that results in a "living soul". Thus, "I think therefore I am" NOT "I am therefore I think".

The origin of "conceive" is from the latin "concipere"; to take in. When does a fetus conceive or take in a thought; whether it be in the form of a dream or a singular concept? If a thought is not reliant on the physical but the spiritual, then the fetus is considered a "living soul" when God breathes in the "spirit of life" upon conception.

God bless.

ODbyG

Hi.

This is Aaron Levi and this is my blog site. ODbyG stands for "Original Design by God". You are an "original design by God"; created, special, unique, and loved. Don't let anyone tell you anything different. And don't believe anything different.

Though our appearances may vary we are all "originally designed by God". We are all created in His image, having hearts that feel love, mercy, sadness, grief, and joy; enabling us, urging us to reach out to the needy, the suffering, and the lost.

God bless.
